The Carman Project

Posted on November 12, 2017

Our clients came to us with a plan to build a new home. We met at our home and they immediately fell in love with the layout and design of our current home. We used this as a starting point for the design of their dream home and the final result is nothing short of amazing!

We focused on designing an open concept home that allowed for functionality, tons of storage and lots of room to relax and enjoy. The flow of spaces is seamless, yet each room has a look and feel of its own. We incorporated a lot of neutral colours for an airy, natural feel while adding bold accents such as red reclaimed brick, dark light fixtures and hardware and dark wood beams. We added a ton of texture with ship lap ceilings, wall sconces and accent white wood feature walls. By mixing wood tones and textures, we are able to create such a timeless look and feel.

The exterior of the home continues with the neutral colour scheme. We added a custom wood beam entry-way and dark fixtures to give it that dramatic curb appeal while still being timeless and gorgeous for years to come.

This home was designed and furnished by The Home Workshop. Follow our work on social media for prices on pieces or contact us to book a home consult today. We’d love to design your dream home in 2018!
